Dave Blakely on building new things, design & Andy Grove's innovation cliche

A Load of BS on Best Behaviour Part 1

Introducing Dave Blakely and Mach49

Dave is Executive Vice President at venture studio and growth incubator Mach49. He was a leader at design agency IDEO for many years and has advised organisations on innovation and design thinking as wide ranging as NASA, Google and Eli Lilly over a decades long career.

He has sailed the Silicon Valley seas, studying engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, working in a Hewlett Packard spin off as well as teaching at Stanford's renowned d.school.

Today is the first in a 3-part series with this extraordinarily talented, sharp-witted and humble man and I’m so happy to be collaborating with him and Mach49 on this series all about innovation, creativity, design and the vagaries of the human condition.

Check out some of the amazing work Mach49 does driving growth and building new ventures with some of the greatest brands around.

Tickets for Bill Browder and me at Jewish Book Week

I want to alert you all to my live interview with Bill Browder at Jewish Book Week in London on Sunday 5th March at 3.30pm at King's Place. As you may remember, I interviewed Bill on this podcast last year about his book Freezing Order and being Valdimir Putin's public enemy number 1. Buy tickets here. There are very few left I believe.
